POLYURETHANE PRIMER
About The Product
Maxbond PU Primer is a polyurethane primer containing polyurethane prepolymer and quick drying
solvents. It is used in substrate preparation to counter the effects of substrate humidity and porosity, to improve
application rate of polyurethane coatings and enhance bonding of polyurethane sealants. For use over concrete,
masonry and metal surfaces.

Surface Preparation
All surfaces must be clean, dry and free from oils, wax and other contaminants. Metal shall be wire brushed and
free of rust, paint and other coating.
The Installation
Stir Maxbond PU Primer well before use. Apply by brush, roller or spray at a rate of 0.2 liter per m² depending
on porosity of the substrate. Use only in well ventilated area and keep away from open flame. Let the primer
penetrate the substrate and protect from air borne dust.

Storage
Store in sealed original packaging in well ventilated, cool and dry space away from sunlight and heat source.

Health & Safety
This product contains solvent and is flammable. Do not use near open flame or in enclosed space without
ventilator or breathing apparatus. Wear protective gloves and safety goggles when handling and avoid
excessive inhalation. Upon contact with skin, wash with soap and water. In case of eye contact, flush with water
and seek medical attention immediately.
