Mixing
• Maxcrete TG15 : 2 kg
• Clean Water : 0.67 liter
Pour 0.67 liter of water into mixing container and slowly add Maxcrete TG15 powder while stirring with an
electrical mixer. Mix for 2 to 3 minutes until lump free homogenous consistency. Let the mix sit for 5 minutes and
remix again before using.
Preparation
Ensure tiles are firmly set and that the adhesive or mortar is completely dry.
Remove spacers, strings and other loose material. Excess adhesive filling up the joint must be removed to
provide sufficient depth for grout application. Joints must be clean and free of standing water.
Application
To aid grout spreading, dampen the tiles before application but do not leave any trace of standing water.
Use a rubber float to force Maxcrete TG15 into the joints ensuring joints are fully pact and free of voids and pits.
Remove excess grout from the tile surface by moving the rubber float diagonally across the tile joints while the
grout is still fresh.
Check the grouted surface to be level with the tile edges and free of blemishes and leave to stiffen for 15 to 30
minutes before clean-up.
The use of 2 buckets of cleaning water and a stiff flat sponge is recommended for the clean-up process. Assign a
bucket to rinse out surplus grout and the other to clean the sponge.
With a cleaned and dampen (not wet) sponge, lightly mop across the surface of the tile, moving diagonally across
joints. Inspect the grout surface and smoothen with the sponge if required.
Rinse the sponge frequently and change water in the bucket once cleaning generate hazy streaks.
Do not clean with excessive water as this may cause discoloration and powdery joints.
On finishing tile grouting, buff the joint and tile surface with a dry cotton cloth to remove any remaining residue
and haze. Do not use acid to clean grout or tile surfaces.
